Waiting for the Rain

Very dry out here. Last few days have been above 92. One spot of shower on Wednesday morning for about 5 minutes but just enough to wet the grass. The brook is still dry behind the house. Wondering how low the water table is for those on the street with their own wells. This is one of the times its nice to be hooked up to the old city/community water! They say it should rain today. But 'THEY' are not always right. Scattered T-storms with a high of 77. Hmmm, I just left the house at 7:45am to get KC's hair-did and it was already 83 and Sunny. Things can change I guess. Anyway, no hope for the boat today. I guess it's a day to attack the 2-Do list.

99 degrees in 1999, 100 in 2010. Yeah, its hot!
