Well, what a weird February.... lack of snow early on, Groundhog says Spring!, all looks good, 50 degree days then we get snow, it melts, then we get more snow, it almost melts.... and now its the end of the month, more snow and freezing rain forecasted and it's a leap year.... so what do you think about March? First, the Groundhog better watch out cause this Lion isn't happy! Second, Daylight Savings Begins in 2 weeks! Bring on the more sun!

Remembering Whitney

Growing up with Chas, Lindsey and Mom and always having to ride in the car with them was one thing. Our cars didn't have tape players so it was always Shotgun's choice at picking the radio station. But being in the house all day too... you tend to watch the same shows (Y&R, DOOL, JEM!!!) and listen to the same music Country Favorites of Garth Brooks, Lori Morgan, Tina Turner, and Whitney! I don't know how many times we would put our self title Whitney Houston tape cassette in our boombox and see who could sing either the loudest and of course, the best!! Saving all my Love for You, How Will I Know, One Moment in Time, and I think all of our favorites Greatest Love of All. Of course, the BodyGuard came into Chas' life and a whole new set of songs came in but still.. Those were here greatest hits. RIP Whitney... never gonna be another one like you.

A Weather Alert?  Possibly 3-5 inches of what tomorrow? Wow. I guess the temps are going to be below 30 and shoveling accumulation is on the forecast! Don't know if we can handle it! I think the snow shovels are still in the garage!

8 YEARS OLD

Its kind of amazing that 8 years ago we found Makita with her 8 brothers and sisters in a cage waiting for homes. Its amazing that 8 years ago on that same day we all experienced the original Wardrobe Malfunction. 8 years already. In any case, we are so happy she continues to be healthy after her surgery and still whining as much as she did on her way home! Happy Birthday Makita!

  

 

 

MORE DAYLIGHT

A random but very nice to know fact... we will be picking up an hour and 13 more minutes of daylight just in the month of February.... thank God for that Leap Year! :)
