Makita - 1 Day Before Surgery

Please keep your thoughts and prayers with our little girl Makita as she will be having surgery on Tuesday to have her right back leg amputated. Late Friday, we found out that her swollen foot is caused by Fibrosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer. The bright side to this is that this is only in her foot and hasn't spread to any other areas of the body. So her doctor is highly confident that with this surgery, she will be cancer free. Makita hasn't been able to use her leg over the last 4-5 weeks, so she is already adapting to being a tripod dog. So we can only pray that the surgery will be a success and that we will see her back running around the yard with her brothers and sister in 3 weeks. Keep her in your thoughts for us!  Thanks! Kids Visit

We all had a great time with the kids this year and mostly sun!!! 

Made a trip to the Discovery Museum...

And of course, we had to take our annual trip to the PuttPutt course :)

But most of the time was spent at the pool... and sadly, I think Chas has all those pictures. Bad Uncle Nate!!!
