Large Star

On our trip back to East Otto, we found this large star at Bear Hollow Furniture. And it was a great price too!!! We soon agreed it would look perfect on the back of the house where we don't have any windows on the new addition. And once we put it up, we knew it was the right choice! Don't you agree?

Colors of Spring

This past weekend, Jay and I took advantage of the summer-like weather to spruce up the yard as we do every spring. This would be the 2nd cleaning already, but now its got the new mulch and crisp edging that Jay likes. While he was taking care of that, I walked around snapping some pictures of all the new colors springing up. Every year, I am reminded of how Jackie inspired me with her awesome pics. Mine are nothing like hers, but still a view into some of the colors of spring we have at the Rocks.

SciGuy : Well we can look into new technologies of how to recycle, reduce, and reuse products better, and continue educating the public on our Green Efforts. Earth Day is coming up.
Obama : No. Something else needs to happen. What about blocking the sun?
SciGuy : You mean, like blocking the entire sun, Mr President?
Obama. No, you geek. I mean, No science guy. Blocking the bad rays from coming to the earth. Lets look into shooting bad particles that hurt us here on earth, back up into the atmosphere and have it reflect the new bad particles away from us.
SciGuy : Rrriiiiiight. We'll get right on that President.

SERIOUSLY?!?!? WTF!!? God knows what would happen if THAT backfired. We'd all have instant tans!!! Well, except the fair-skinned redheads of the world. They'd be tomato-people. :) Still not at 100 days yet. Tick Tock.
