As I signed up for an email alert when the apples are ready for picking, I got this today : "This is an Apple Alert from Blue Jay Orchards! You requested that we notify you when MCINTOSH apples were ready for picking. Please come visit us anytime between 10 am and 5 pm to pick your own apples. Just remember that apple quantities are limited, so come visit us soon!" This seems rather early this year. I believe we usually attempt our trip after vacation, and just before Halloween. Hopefully this doesn't mean that all the leaves will start falling too.
I will miss picking apples with you this year! Love ya!
