You will be glad to know that the cone is off, his stitches came out Monday, 5/1 and Macen is healing well. Poor little man! Shaved up. A few open sores healing and some swelling on his right leg. I too am healing, stocked up with band-aids and Neosporin. The pups have done really well listening, not wrestling, barking, being separated while we are not home and while sleeping, and being calm while outside or seeing visitors. I think this event has made them more aware of each other, and us as their masters, and that this event will NOT happen ever again. Not to mention, I advise any person to not get Cortisone shots for their pets unless you know all of the possible side effects and to crate the pet for a number of hours before introducing them back into their environment. We are just happy the damage wasn't any worse.
