When I arrived at my mom's, one of the first things I noticed is the newest fad in gathering corn out of the fields!!!! If you didn't already know, my mom is now neighbors with the Amish. In the field next door, the Children of the Corn come out at night. Scary? Yes. More at night, than during the day.
Thanksgiving Day started like every one before that.... mom feverishly cooking, getting plates, silverware, platters, etc ready. We setup the tables, set 27 place settings (at one point, we had 32 people at the house ), and people started to show up by Noon.
Dinner isready!
And can't forget about the desserts!
And who can have Thanksgiving without snow? We can't!!!!
Not much fell but still arrived on schedule!!!!
Made it back to CT safely. Sunday, we will be decorating the inside of the house and going to our favorite tree farm to search for our perfect Christmas Tree.
